Ford Motor Company will offer employee pricing to all US shoppers: 'Handshake deal with every American'

In an unprecedented move, Ford Motor Company has unveiled its "From America, For America" initiative, extending employee pricing to all U.S. customers from April 3 through June 2, 2025. This bold strategy allows consumers to purchase select 2024 and 2025 Ford and Lincoln models at prices below dealer invoice, effectively matching the rates typically reserved for Ford employees.

The promotion encompasses a wide range of vehicles, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, diesel, and gas-powered models. Notably, the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs, Raptors, and Super Duty trucks are excluded from this offer.

Electric vehicle enthusiasts stand to gain additional benefits. Under Ford's Power Promise program, customers purchasing electric vehicles during this period will receive a complimentary home charger with standard installation, aiming to simplify and encourage EV ownership.

This initiative comes in response to the recent implementation of a 25% tariff on imported vehicles by President Donald Trump, a move that has prompted various automakers to adjust their strategies. Ford's decision to offer employee pricing to the public underscores its commitment to American manufacturing and consumers. The company highlighted its robust domestic production, with 80% of its U.S.-sold vehicles built within the country, positioning it favorably against competitors more reliant on foreign production.

In a statement, Ford emphasized its dedication to American consumers during these uncertain economic times

"For 121 years, we've put our money where our mouth is, assembling vehicles that Americans rely on and supporting American jobs. Today, we’re proud to announce a new U.S. initiative that's more than just a promotion. It's a handshake deal with every American."

This "handshake deal" not only reflects Ford's commitment to affordability but also aims to bolster consumer confidence amid economic fluctuations and trade policy shifts. By leveraging its extensive domestic manufacturing footprint, Ford seeks to provide value to its customers while reinforcing its position as a stalwart of American industry.

As the automotive landscape evolves in response to new tariffs and economic challenges, Ford's proactive approach sets a precedent for how legacy manufacturers can adapt and continue to serve their customer base effectively.
